Aura Dental & Skin opened on Golf Course Road in 2016 with four consultants and a stubborn idea: patients make better decisions when they understand what is happening to them.
Our story
From two roomsto seven.
Dr. Ananya Rao started Aura in two rented rooms in Sector 43 after a decade in larger hospital settings, where she found consultations were being compressed into ten-minute slots. She wanted a practice where the diagnosis could be shown on screen and discussed until it made sense.
Dr. Vikram Mehta joined the following year to build the surgical and endodontic side of the practice. When patients began asking about skin and hair concerns during dental visits, dermatology stopped being an afterthought — Dr. Meera Iyer and Dr. Arjun Nair came on board and the clinic moved into its present ground-floor space in Amaris Tower.
Today Aura runs seven treatment rooms and a small support team. We have chosen not to franchise or open satellite branches, because the thing patients tell us they value most is seeing the same clinician each time.

We schedule 30 to 45 minutes for a first visit, which means fewer patients per day and more time to answer questions.

Instrument processing happens in a glass-fronted bay with logged cycles. Ask to look, any time.
Restraint over upselling
If a treatment is unlikely to help, we will say so. We do not bundle procedures you have not asked about.

Intraoral scanning, CBCT imaging, magnification loupes, trichoscopy and laser platforms parameterised for darker skin types. Each of these earns its place because it changes what we can see or how comfortable a procedure is — not because it sounds impressive.

Seven treatment rooms sit off a daylight corridor, two of them sterile suites used for surgical and laser work. Instruments are processed in a glass-fronted sterilisation bay you are welcome to look into.
The waiting lounge seats eight, never more, because we schedule to avoid queues rather than to fill them.
